Bronchoscopy and Pleuroscopy
Bronchoscopy and Pleuroscopy are nonsurgical procedures used to examine the respiratory system.
A bronchoscopy is a procedure where an endoscope is passed through the mouth and throat, into the lung, thus allowing for the trachea and bronchial tree to be examined.
A pleuroscopy is where an endoscope is passed into the chest cavity to inspect the chest as well as the lung.
